Hello! I am Kieya. I am a sophomore at a community college. I had gotten a volleyball scholarship to go there. I am going to major in general business. I always wanted to put my art out into the world, but had no idea how till I took some business classes and learned about Shopify. My business classes heavily impacted this decision because it wasn't something I thought of doing before. I wanted to play volleyball, so I took the "easiest" major, business. This led to now. I've learned so much from the classes, and it all fascinates me. So I am going to try! -͟͟͞☆

Values are a huge part of starting a business. One of many business values is the goals of the business, and how those will inspire the business to keep growing. I value customer satisfaction. I plan to make different types of art to sell. With what I sell, I not only want the art that I sell to be top quality for all who plan to buy, but also have the option of customization. A goal of mine is to make art that will make people happy. Besides business, another goal is to feel accomplished myself. I want to inspire others to create a business, or just in general, go after the dreams that they have. 

Long-term goals are a must in business. My long-term goal is to have my business running for as long as I can keep making my art. I want my business to stay thriving in the highs and lows. A lot of small business fails in the first year of starting. I have a goal not to be one of those businesses. I want to stay strong and do what I love doing, and sell it to others who appreciate the work I put in. 

My business is going to be an online store. I will be selling all types of things. The name for my business is Totally Kieya. I went through many names to get to this one. It may seem basic, but I like it. I not only want to sell my art, but I also want to make and sell everything. From paintings, to a craft, to custom clothing, to jewelry. I would love to connect with my customers and find a way to make art just for them. If that is a painting of something they love, or a clay figure of a cute animal. I have always grown up loving the art of life. Knowing that art is everywhere. I have always had a dream of selling what I can make. That is another one of my goals. Making things for everyone to enjoy. Different varieties of style, colors, and more things that will make my small business unique. I want to catch the eye of many people, bringing diversity. 

I have been using Shopify and Printify. Shopify helps people like me create an online store. Printfy is an online print-on-demand service with many different products to upload my digital art to. To start, once I have enough time, I will start making handmade things. Since I am in college, I barely have time to make handmade art. I may here and there, and I could list them, but it's all a work in progress. I hope to work fast and bring the right satisfaction to my customers. Thank you for your patience! I am so excited.
